SociLoop — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
SociLoop ("SociLoop", "we", "us", or "our") operates sociloop.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act).
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SociLoop.
2. Who We Are
SociLoop is a social media content automation platform for licensed professionals in India, currently focused on healthcare practitioners. We help professionals generate, review, and publish compliant educational content to their social media pages.

3. What Data We Collect
3.1 Account Data
- Full name and email address
- Professional specialty or field
- City of practice
- Password (stored as a one-way bcrypt hash — never in plain text)
3.2 Professional Preferences
- Content tone and posting cadence preferences
- Preferred social media platforms
- Banned words or topics you specify
3.3 Generated Content
- AI-generated post drafts and their approval/rejection status
- Compliance check results
- Scheduled publishing timestamps
3.4 Social Platform Tokens (when connected)
- Facebook Page access tokens (stored securely in our database)
- Facebook Page ID and page name
3.5 Usage Data
- Login timestamps and session data
- Feature usage patterns (aggregate, not individual tracking)
4. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect:
- Patient names, patient health records, or any patient-identifiable information
- Medical records or clinical data
- Payment card details (processed directly by Razorpay)
- Government ID numbers
Our platform is for professional content creation only. You must not enter any patient identifiable information into any field on SociLoop.
5. How We Use Your Data
- To generate social media posts tailored to your specialty using AI
- To check posts against applicable regulatory guidelines (e.g. NMC for doctors)
- To schedule and publish approved posts to your connected social media pages
- To manage your subscription and trial access
- To send transactional emails (account, billing, post alerts)
- To improve and maintain the platform
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
6. Third-Party Services
We share data with these third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

7. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Generated posts are retained until you delete them or close your account
- Social platform tokens are deleted when you disconnect a platform
- On account deletion, all personal data is permanently and immediately deleted from our systems
8. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
As a data principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access — download a copy of your data from your profile settings
- Correction — update inaccurate data directly from your profile settings
- Erasure — delete your account and all data from your profile settings (Danger Zone)
- Withdrawal of consent — you may withdraw consent to data processing at any time by deleting your account
- Grievance — raise a complaint with our grievance officer via our contact page
Most rights are self-serviceable from your profile. For other requests, contact our grievance officer at legal@sociloop.com from your registered email address. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, AES-256-GCM encryption of social media tokens at rest, and access controls limiting who can access production data. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
10. Children
SociLoop is intended for licensed professionals only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
